Some of us didn't create the government were being handed, but at the end of the day, were going to have to fix it together.
Since I was little, I have always wanted to help others. It's something I inherited from my Great Grandfather. I grew up watching up him do all he could for others, and its ingrained in my soul.
We are living in very difficult financial times, and unfortunately, or current government is cutting public goods, helping private equity increase profits, and making life more difficult for everyone. That's not how our government should work.
As I fight against greed, self-interest and corporate fraud of our public goods, I want to use this campaign for bringing awareness to current initiatives that are helping our neighbors in need, as well raise money and support to support them and the community.
In times like these, our community is only as strong as our most vulnerable.
Interested in supporting local community pantries ? Please chip in to support. Contributions received will go to local community pantries, such as Monday Coffee, in North Lawndale. Cant chip in right now? That's fine! If you artist and those without the money to purchase things like software, music equipment, art supplies, and direct compensation for any work used to help the campaign.
I am honored to provide updates on how money is spent, and to whom.
Artist deserve a life that fairly compensates and values the work they put into the world. And it's my goal to ensure that's supported while in office.
Chip in if you can. If you cant right now, please consider donating any supplies or equipment that will help artist in the community, as well as volunteer to spread this message to friends, family and neighbors in your circles. Together, we can put community over politics, and use art to change the world!
